Finally got a Backhoe guys after months of looking at all makes and models hovering around 5700 buckeroos. I found this guy on the internet 6 miles from my house who had a WOODS 7500 Backhoe completely copied with the single cylinder chain swing cylinder replaced with dual cylinders like the Woods 9000. He put heavier 3/8 steel plate on the dipperstick top, welded the operator guard intead of bolting, even put an adjustable lumbar adjustment feature on the seat, plus a ton of other "beefing" where Woods was weak. He calls it a Praire DOG Digger. He had the whole thing manufactured in Bulgaria to keep manufacturing costs down. One helluva of a 7.5 foot backhoe for 3895.00 plus 495.00 if you need the PTO pump and resevoir.
Anyway, he gets these backhoes 28 at a time in containerized sea freight and wholesales them to implement dealers. SOOOOOO......through my travels in south East Michigan I found this dealer who he sells to that had one left over that he didn't want to inventory over the winter. Got the whole "kit and kaboodle" with PTO pump and resevoir plus 12 and 18 inch buckets for 3650.00. It fits perfectly on the Woods subframe on my B-2150HST. This dealer had sold 6 of them over the summer at $4200 without PTO pump and resevoir and his only complaint was that the hoses needed to be of better quality since 3 hoses had leaked at the dipperstick cylinder fitting and had to be replaced. No biggie I thought. I put it through it paces installed on his old Ford Jubilee running at 1400 rpm and it was fast and powerful with a 12 inch bucket. Advertised weight is 1057 less bucket but I will fetch my 3000 pound load cell and see what it really weighs and pulls. Only thing I can see that is somewhat distasteful is the color......yukky YELLOW. But I guess for the money I can fire up my paint sprayer with Kubota Orange and "civilize" it. I will let all you guys know what happens. How do I load a picture from my digital camera on here so you guys can take a gander at it?

That sounds like an interesting hoe. I forget which tractor it's for but I hope it's not too much hoe for the tractor.

Pictures can't be directly uploaded to this site, which I think is desirable. Easy pictures increases site operation costs and maybe leads to 'image self-indulgence' that can be witnessed other places—at least from my perspective.

This site allows links to pictures on other sites. It's actually quite easy to create your own web site and upload pics to it. Unless a personal site becomes popular, the traffic and space requirements remain well within the default allotments that are provided by many ISP accounts. I'd be happy to see a hoe pic or two.

Jeff: Sorry I didn't get back to your question. I get side tracked easily.

I'm not absolutely certain of the difference between the link and the picture/image boxes. I use the link box myself. I enter the HTTP address of my personal page where I have uploaded a picture. I guess if my page was very complicated I could include a completely qualified address, which included the file name of a single image I wanted to make available to the board. In that case, I'd probably use the picture/image box, but they both would be link addresses and I'm not sure why there's a difference between the two boxes.
